General Terms and Conditions

1 Scope
LINDEN 3L AG, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer," organizes and conducts various events ("Event") as the office of the Regenerative Tourism Initiative. The following General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") apply to (i) all persons attending the event and (ii) other contractual partners of the Organizer (together "Participants"). Various lectures, courses, panels, and workshops ("Sessions") are organized as part of the event. Participants may purchase tickets ("Tickets") for the entire event or possibly for individual sessions.

The following GTC of the Organizer are an integral part of the contract that is concluded with the purchase of a ticket or a registration. For simplicity, the purchase of a ticket as well as registration is summarized under the term "Registration."

The Organizer reserves the right to change these GTC at any time. The changes are considered accepted unless the participant actively objects within 30 days after their publication. The changes must be in writing, published appropriately, and reasonably brought to the attention of the participants. Only the German version of these GTC is legally binding; versions in other languages are for reference purposes only.
2 Binding Nature
Registration for the event or individual sessions takes place via the respective onlineregistration platform, usually through an external service provider, namely HPMS Megert &Co, B2Match, and Eventbrite. The registration becomes legally binding upon receipt of awritten confirmation (letter or email).

By registering, the participant agrees to these GTC as well as any other safety, access, andother regulations that may be issued for the corresponding event and commits to complyingwith them, as well as with the instructions of the organizer's staff (or third partiescommissioned by the organizer). The participant acknowledges that non-compliance withthese regulations and instructions may result in exclusion from the event. In the event of suchexclusion, no compensation or refund of the event ticket costs will be provided.

The participant acknowledges that, with regard to the purchase of the event ticket, there is noright of withdrawal, except as provided in section 4 below. Therefore, tickets purchased forthe event cannot be exchanged or refunded.
3 Execution
3.1 General Provisions

The execution of the events takes place in compliance with the applicable officialregulations, and all information is provided without guarantee. Changes to the schedule orcontent of the program, as well as adjustments to the number of permitted participants, maybe made at any time. The organizer reserves the right to uninvite registered participants dueto capacity restrictions or to cancel already purchased tickets.

The event consists of various sessions that are generally intended to be conducted primarilyin person. However, the organizer reserves the right to conduct the event or individualsessions virtually. In such cases, the event will be held either partially (hybrid) or entirelyonline. These changes do not entitle the participant to a refund of the ticket, a refund of thepurchase price, or an exchange for a ticket to the next edition of the event.

The organizer reserves the right to change the program without prior notice, to replaceannounced speakers with others, or to have speakers join online. These changes do not entitlethe participant to a refund of the ticket, a refund of the purchase price, or an exchange for aticket to the next edition of the event.
3.2 Postponement of the Event

In the event that a physical execution of the event or individual parts of it becomes impossibledue to circumstances of force majeure (e.g., war, illness of a speaker, environmentalinfluences, disasters, unrest, respectfulness, threat or act of terrorism, epidemic, pandemic[including COVID-19], government ban, etc.) or other circumstances not attributable to theorganizer, the organizer will, if possible and appropriate, offer to conduct the event or therespective part online or in a hybrid format at short notice or will decide to postpone the eventto a later date.

The purchased ticket will automatically be valid for the rescheduled date. Refunds orexchanges of the ticket are excluded. For hybrid events, the organizer will decide whichparticipants are allowed to attend the physical event.
3.3 Interruption or Cancellation of the Event

In the event of an interruption or cancellation of an already commenced physical event or aphysical occasion that cannot be conducted virtually, due to circumstances of force majeure(e.g., war, death or illness of a speaker, severe weather, unrest, respectfulness, threat or actof terrorism, epidemic, pandemic [including COVID-19], government ban, etc.) or othercircumstances not attributable to the organizer, the event or affected occasion will not berescheduled to a later date. Compensation or refunds for event tickets due to an interruptionor cancellation are excluded, as is the transfer of tickets to a subsequent year.

If the organizer cancels the event for reasons other than those mentioned, the following refundconditions apply:
4 Withdrawal and Cancellation Terms
For all reservations, registrations, and bookings, the following withdrawal and cancellation terms apply:
For multi-day events, the first day of the event is considered the start of the event.
These withdrawal and cancellation terms also apply in cases of inability to attend due to illness, accident, or other reasons not attributable to the participant. The withdrawal notice must be submitted in writing by post or email. The refund entitlement is based on the date of receipt of the written withdrawal notice. For Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the following business day is considered. Ticket splitting and ticket transfers are generally not possible. Exceptions may be made in special cases but are always subject to a processing fee.
5 Data Protection
Data protection is of high importance. The organizer is subject to Swiss data protectionlegislation. Personal data is treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for the executionof the relevant event. To the extent that the services booked are not provided directly by theorganizer (e.g., hotel accommodations, providers of digital event platforms), the organizer isentitled to share personal data with its partners for the provision of these services.Participants acknowledge and consent to the organizer and any third parties appointed bythem having access to their data. Data will only be disclosed to authorities in compliance withmandatory national legal provisions.

Participants consent to the organizer having access to their data for statistical analysispurposes. Participants also permit the organizer to inform them about other events conductedby the organizer. The organizer is entitled to involve third parties in Switzerland and abroadand to outsource related services to third parties both within Switzerland and abroad.

Participants agree that the organizer may provide the names, company, and position of theparticipants to all other participants a few days before the event in the form of a participant listand may include the same information in any event app.

Additionally, the data protection regulations apply.
6 Multimedia Recordings
During the event, the organizer and media professionals will create and publish image, sound,and/or video recordings, which may be used for advertising purposes (in print and onlinemedia, TV, social media, etc.). Participants consent to being depicted or represented in theserecordings and agree that such recordings may be used for the aforementioned purposeswithout compensation.

Audio and video recordings of the speakers at the event by participants are not permitted.Photography with mobile phones for personal use is generally allowed. However, filming andphotographing with professional cameras require separate accreditation from the organizer.
7 Disclaimer of Liability
The organizer's liability for any damages incurred by participants in connection with theorganization and/or execution of the event is excluded to the extent permitted by law. In anycase, the organizer's liability, to the extent permitted by law, is limited to the amount of theticket purchase price. The organizer is not liable for bodily injury, property damage, orfinancial loss caused to participants by third parties. Further damages of any kind will not becompensated. Any claims for damages or other claims for monetary compensation by theparticipants shall expire one year after discovery.

The organizer is not liable for lost or stolen items. Lost property will be taken to the local lostand found office after the event.

Accommodation, travel to, and return from the event (and during the event) and the individualoccasions organized by the organizer are the responsibility of the participants. The organizerdisclaims any liability in this regard.
8 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The services provided by the organizer, the events they conduct, and these terms aregoverned exclusively by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes arisingbetween the participant and the organizer concerning an event or related matters should beresolved through negotiations if possible. If this is not feasible, the ordinary courts in Bern shallhave exclusive jurisdiction.
