Martin Grassberger

Author

Born in 1972, he is an Austrian physician, biologist, and specialist in forensic medicine. He has engaged in international teaching and lecturing, completed a postgraduate degree in epidemiology, and holds diplomas in environmental medicine and nutritional medicine, as well as training as a skilled agricultural worker. In addition to the diverse topics of human and health ecology and evolutionary medicine, the award-winning bestselling author and practicing Buddhist is also interested in the unresolved questions of life that cannot be answered by reductionist science alone. His book Das leise Sterben was named Science Book of the Year 2020 in the Natural Science/Technology category. His most recent publications with Residenz Verlag include Das unsichtbare Netz des Lebens (2021) and Regenerativ (2024).
