WHY YOU SHOULD COME

We first enjoyed the perks of tourism, then saw many
of our wonderful places decline. So we asked.

Can tourism become a good thing again?

Can destinations enjoy benefits of travel without negatives of tourism?
Can tourism benefit local owners and the region first?
And can tourists positively impact the places they visit?

Find out at Moverence.

WHO’S BEHIND

Moverence, organized by the Swiss Regenerative Tourism Initiative, aims to make regenerative tourism a reality. We connect European tourism stakeholders, organise workshops, and provide resources to help foster regenerative transformation in regions.

By analysing best practices in Switzerland, Moverence fosters shared understanding, inspires new ideas, and strengthens networks among emerging change-makers in tourism.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The name „Moverence“ is a combination of two words: Move & Conference. This means that during the conference, we will be moving from place to place. The base of the Moverence is in Lucerne. We will meet in Lucerne each morning, and return to Lucerne every evening. During the day, however, we will be traveling around Central Switzerland and experiencing, observing, and analyzing best practices.
